#80 Helianthus Maze

#80 - Helianthus Maze - Sunflowers have been a favorite of mine since childhood. Now there are so many wonderful crazy varieties to grow. Each year we harvest open pollinated seeds from our crop. This is an example of particularly uncivilized specimen where almost all the tiny blooms in the composite grew twisted ray flowers.

This maze is inspired by a previous maze, maze 0078 - Ant in the Sunflower. I was so compelled by the details and the color of that maze that when I finished, I didn't want to stop. So Imade a second maze on the same topic.

Ironically, even though I enjoyed these mazes while making them, I was less enamored of the end result. I sat on them for three months before I decided to add them to my collection and show them.
