I've been in the market for a new blogging platform for several months. I don't want to go to the bother of hosting it myself. I've been on LiveJournal for years, but I wanted a fresh start. I'm planning on writing on technical topics rather than personal ones. LiveJournal just doesn't seem like the place for that.
Several people I know suggested that I try BlogSpot. It turns out that I already have an account. Sometime in 2005, I actually started here, but never followed through. I don't expect many accounts that have been idle for six years suddenly wake up.
My regret here is that I cannot get 'twobraids.blogspot.com' and must resign myself to '2braids' instead. Perhaps I'll look into getting some type of custom domain.
So here I go, I hope it won't be another six years before I post again...
