#20 Moss on Asphalt Maze

#20 Moss on Asphalt Maze – I've spent an inordinate amount of time in my life looking closely at asphalt. I certainly skinned my knees a lot as a child. In my twenties, a mishap on a motorcycle give me quite some time staring at asphalt (see my Pycon 2016 Keynote). Here in Oregon, asphalt grows moss very quickly if the asphalt in infrequently used. When I walk, my eyes are often on the asphalt in front of me, a habit of my obviously learned that aforementioned childhood.

How far can I take a scene with only three distinct textures: the facets of the gravel, the sandy tar and the spiky moss? This is how I represented a particularly interesting section of pavement.
